FC Tucson Women 2019 Season

FC Tucson Women kick off their 2019 season on Saturday, June 1 against Albuquerque Sol FC at 7:30 at Kino North Stadium. Anticipation is high for this year’s team coming off a highly successful 2018 campaign that ended with a PacSouth Division championship and a trip to the regional final in Seattle. New head coach Kelly Pierce, who captained FCTW’s first two teams, has every expectation of continuing the winning tradition established by Amy Garelick who stepped away during the off-season after six years at the helm.

FCTW 2019 is comprised primarily of current and former Tucson youth players including former University of Arizona stars Laura Pimienta and Mykaylin Rosenquists. Former TSA player Bri Barreiro returns after a stellar 2018 season along with goalkeeper Malia Vanisi, and current Tucson youth players, Hope Hisey, Tatianna Lizarraga, and Hannah Leitner. In this World Cup year, don’t miss the chance to see high-level women’s soccer up close and personal.
