Know Loan Player Rules!
Posted by patdunham 298 days agoBe advised the league allows loan players in games U11 and up. The game report which is provided by each team to the referee prior to each league match must have the required information for each player, and the exact loan player number listed in the "blank" space provided.
1. 3 player rule: The league allows up to three loan for each game; however, the total available players for the match may not exceed 15. Therefore if you have 12 of your own players, you may have 3 loan players; if you have thirteen, then 2 loan players,; and if you have 14, then 1 loan player.
2. 5 player rule. The league allows up to 5 players if you have 7 or less of your own players available at the game. Therefore if you have only 7 players from your team show up, or a number less than 7, you may borrow up to 5. Once you have 8 of your own players, be advised the 3 loan player rule applies.
3. Paperwork requirements: If the loan player(s) is from your own club, you need only the player card and the signed medical release form.
If the loan player(s) are from a club other than your own, you will need a completed loan player form(see PCJSL forms), with signature from the parent and/or guardian of the child, and coaches of the two teams involved, , the player card, and a copy of the signed medical release.
4. Be advised the intent of these rules was to prevent cancellations for lack of the required number of players, and to allow for a minimal amount of substitues due to the extreme weather conditions which may occur. It was not to "stack" teams for certain games. Please utilize the rule in the spirit in which it was formulated.
