PCJSL Game Cancellation Policy If you cancel a game without proper notice you may be fined:
*Bond to be posted to: ( CONNIE GARDNER OR ANY PCJSL BOARD MEMBER) W Cancellations are defined as but are not limited to: • canceling the game in advance, Any team or Club who is a repeat offender of this policy may be subject to PCJSL bylaw 1.02C. c) Bad Standing: Clubs, teams, players, coaches and club members may be placed in 'bad standing'. Bad standing is defined as a temporary suspension of the right to participate in PCJSL or AYSA sanctioned activities. Clubs, players, coaches, teams and club members may be placed in bad standing for, but not limited to, the following: failure to pay registration or referee fees, failure to adhere to a published schedule of league matches, failure to provide adequate referees at home games, failure to have fields properly set up for home games, failure to carry out PCJSL rules, guidelines, punishments and directives. The club president will notified of the intent and substance of bad standing and the right of the club, team, coach, player or club member to rectify the situation. Prior to the implementation of bad standing a hearing will be held by the League D & R Committee. Emergency cancellations will be reviewed on case-by-case basis by the D&R committee and should be submitted in writing to the vice president. Game Cancellation Procedure 1.) At the earliest possible time, notify the league, Jeff Welliver at jmw@theriver.com (Cancellations) 2.) Notify the coach of the team you should have played. Please check with Cheryl Copeland for Saturday field availabilities or with your Club assignor to schedule game on any other day. You will need to make sure that referees will be scheduled. Your club coordinator or the referee assignors can help you how to secure referees. |
